At this point, there is one interesting rumor that is worth mentioning. There's no proof, but plenty of people would swear that Ardenis could communicate with sprites.

After becoming a sailor, Ardenis heard sprites calling for help while sailing near Southern Island.

It turned out that a band of south sea pirates was destroying the Deep Sea Altar. They blamed Bahado, King of the Southern Seas, for poor pickings in their recent voyages.

Though outnumbered, Ardenis still beat the pirates and protected the Deep Ocean Altar.

That was Ardenis's first contact with a Sprite King, the voice of Bahado, King of the Southern Seas, rang out from the Deep Sea Altar.

To thank Ardenis for his help, Bahado, King of the Southern Seas, granted Ardenis a guardian sprite.

The ability of the Sprite is not known but legend has it that it helped Ardenis reach his peak of his pirate career.
