"This letter has the Resistance Army emblem and Candice's signature, so it's a real message."

"Hmm... anyways, I must thank you for bringing this message and the glass crystals to me. Let me read the letter first." Alba smiles and nods at you. She opens the letter and starts reading.

Acceptance

"I understand the contents of the message. It looks like Duluke has stumbled upon a big secret, and it has something to do with these crystals." Alba grabs a glass crystal after putting on a glove.

"But we don't know why the glass crystals have such powerful energy, or why it's turning the monsters into these undead... things."

"Can you please seek out the Mystics of the Senate and ask them these questions? I'm sure they will give us helpful advice."

Intermediate

You've had conversations with the three Senate Mystics, right? They're right around here. They should be easy enough to find. Alba smiles at you.

"Thank you for seeking them out. I have all of the Mystics' opinions here. These three are as cute as ever!" Alba smiles secretly.

"Ahem, but I still need more clues and concrete evidence!"

Acceptance

"The recent attacks on the citadel by the Beastman Army and the undead monsters have become increasingly deadly. Everyone's exhausted because we've been on defense for such a long time. I think it's time to lift their spirits."

"Jessica once said, "Defeated enemies make an army strong!'" Alba clenches her fists.

"%n%, please defeat the Rippled Beastmen and Rock Cyclops. They're very strong, so be careful!"

Intermediate

"You're back. I was just searching for any information related to the glass crystals." Alba puts down the book on Ilya she was reading.

"The Rippled Beastmen and Rock Cyclops are powerful enemies. Their strength is equal to that of a Royal Lieutenant. The Rock Cyclops is the more powerful of the two, and an ordinary fighter would be no match for its "Pulverizing Fist" attack.

"You didn't let me down. The spirit of everyone in the citadel has been buoyed by your heroic acts!"

"I believe with everyone's teamwork we will be able to defeat the Beastman Army and save Ilya!" Alba praises you heartily.

Acceptance

"%n%, there's been something strange going on lately."

"All of the villagers and soldiers within the citadel have had the same dream: a crying girl, trying to gesture something to them. But she is always engulfed by darkness and disappears. That's where everyone wakes up."

"Can you investigate what's going on here?"

Intermediate

"I've had a similar dream of the crying girl after I came to Ilya." Alba recalls.

"The girl... she was surrounded by black energy. Although the girl was glowing with light, all of the light was sucked away by the darkness. She opened her mouth saying something, but I couldn't hear a word... and then I woke up."

"The crying girl, glass on undead monsters, a glass-like sword, black unidentified objects..." you recount the information you gathered.

(After you recall the villagers' dreams, Alba's eyes light up)

"So that's it!" Alba seems to have found the answer.

"Although Duluke didn't mention anything about you, it could only be the legendary Sprite Messenger who can accomplish all these things!"

"Hehe! We still need your help. Go find White Flame Knight Alez. He should be preparing the attack. I want you to help him to end this war."

"That's the glass sword and my personal badge that I handed to Cahan. Did he leave this difficult mission to you?" Alba asks, her face solemn.

"So...what happened to the Wraith King Dinor?"

(You hand her Wraith King Dinor's giant glass crystal, and tell her he has been vanquished)

"Really? That's wonderful-we're almost there!"

"You are our true hero. Let me express my greatest respect for your contributions to Ilya." Alba kisses you on the cheek.

"Now we have to completely destroy all the remaining Beastman Army fighters and the undead creatures, and thoroughly cleanse the peninsula of its magic contamination."

"What? Why is she challenging me to a duel for this?" Alba is surprised.

"Please tell Kuwa that I am not accepting her challenge. The enemy is at the gate. We'll lose a valuable fighting force no matter who wins the duel and it'll become an opportunity for the enemy."

"Then the people of Ilya, who have placed their trust in us, will once again have nowhere to go." Alba looks at you firmly.

"Anyways, I think Kuwa's smart and beautiful, and frequently reminds us about things we've overlooked. There really isn't any need to compete over which is more popular."

"I'm guessing that the Wraith King was being controlled by someone since he also had a glass crystal inside him." Alba says in contemplation.

"Legend says the Holy Spring in the north of Dreamer's Plateau will purify any evil. I have sent an expedition to the Glazefrost Mountains to investigate, but I haven't heard back from them since. I'm worried that they might have run into trouble. Can you go and take a look?" Alba says, worried.

"I have to remain here." Alba suddenly lowers her voice. "Information regarding our movements seem to have been leaked and I suspect there is a spy amongst us. I must remain here to investigate, so I must leave the investigation regarding the Holy Spring to you." Alba salutes you.

"If you meet the members of the expedition, tell them to remain there just in case."

"While the Beastmen and undead monsters continue to attack the Resistance Citadel, the undead army attacking the Resistance Outpost are stepping up the firepower as well."

"As the Citadel is quite far from the Resistance Outpost, it is not easy to send reinforcements. Now the roads to the outpost are occupied by demons, making it even more difficult to provide efficient military support."

"We hope you can help us by going to the Anguish Coast and Desperation Delta and eliminating local demons so that the resistance can build relay stations and expand their line of defense!"

"It is said that Daihalazan, the leader of the undead, is not far from the south end of the citadel. He is the commander of the undead army in the Sorrow Peninsula."

"Can you gather your friends to find Daihalazan and defeat him? This will eliminate any future threat."

"If the undead leader can be killed, I believe the undead army across the Sorrow Peninsula will be scattered, and the threat of the Beastmen and undead alliance will be dramatically reduced!"

Alba laughs mischievously. She seems like a different person
to the pragmatic soldier she is normally.

"I'm only pulling you leg. I heard that you came here for a reason, is that right?"

"I'll notify the nearby soldiers so they won't bother you outside.
But first, you should rest for a while."

"But at least now the soldiers here all know that you're a trustworthy Sprite Messenger.
I've given everyone your description.
I hope you don't mind."

Alba seems bothered by something.

"Based on our intelligence, there are some suspicious figures
headed for the Glazefrost Mountains. Seeing as that's exactly where you're headed,
would you mind chasing after them?"

"However, we don't get along too well with the locals there,
and so you may have to do something to win their approval.
But I'm sure you've had plenty of experience with that already!"

"The local Glazed Horned Sea Monster and Glazed Crystal Jelly Rabbit
aren't too dangerous, so you may want to start there."
