White Flame Knight Alez

"So you're the soldier Colonel Alba recommended?" Alez pats your shoulder with some force.

"I can tell you're a brave and fierce warrior from your equipment and your stance. I look forward to your performance on the battlefield!"

(Alez seems to be much more easy going then the other White Flame Knights)

That's wonderful! Colonel Alba doesn't recommend people lightly. I'm sure you'll be a great help to us. Stay close to me. We'll win this thing together! Alez waves his weapon around.

"We conducted several raids but were unsuccessful because we couldn't defeat the Wraith King. Colonel Alba has been planning this attack for a long time. We'll launch an all-out attack that will finally drive the Beastmen out of our beautiful peninsula." Alez clenches his fists.

"But we still need lots of supplies and weapons. Defeat the Rippled Beastmen and take their body armor, and defeat the Cavern Beastmen and take their food supplies!"

"Rippled Beastman armor is very strong. We can turn it into armor for our soldiers with some work. But the food from the Cavern Beastmen isn't very good. You'd only eat this dried-up stuff during wartime!" Alez says.

"We have to pick up the pace. The people of Ilya have been suffering for too long!" Alez tries another small bite of the Beastman rations.

"1, 2, 3, 4... we have enough here. Thanks for your help. We're one more step closer to victory now."

"Supplies have finally arrived, and now we have to weaken the Beastman Army's defenses." Alez looks at the orders given by Alba.

"The Lizard Sorcerers and Illusionary Frog Priests are the rare Beastmen who wield strong attack magic. Their existence is a roadblock to our attack plan." Alez looks worried.

"%n%, please reduce their numbers as much as you can. If you need to replenish your supplies, come back at any time."

"The Lizard Sorcerers and Illusionary Frog Priests are very different from the Beastman Army members we've encountered before. They seem to be different... animals?" Alez expresses his doubts.

"But they are using magic that only Mystic Mentors can use. How can this be possible?"

"That's wonderful! "The M-ATK of the Lizard Sorcerers and Illusionary Frog Priests are very powerful. Even I had a hard time dealing with them. You couldn't have defeated them unless you had the right stuff."

"I'm really glad you're a member of our team. It looks like we're close to recovering Ilya." Alez says happily.

"Cahan led an elite force against the Beastman Camp while you were taking care of the Lizard Sorcerers and Illusionary Frog Priests."

"But the Beastman Army attacked our citadel soon after. Although we resisted the attack, we suffered quite a bit of damage. I suspect that someone has leaked the information about our planned attack. The timing was too close to be a coincidence."

"If there really is a spy, then Cahan's in trouble! He and the others have already left for the front lines. Please go and help them out." Alez strokes his cracked shield uneasily.

Ah, that's the handkerchief I gave away. Huh? But why do you have it? I remember giving it to a sweet girl... Alez holds the handkerchief in his hands, trying to remember who he gave it to.

"Ah! I remember now. A girl was surrounded by the Beastman Army when we were first heading out. They were about to kill her, but Colonel Alba kicked me right into the middle of the fight. I had to defeat a dozen Beastmen." Alez trembles and touches his sword.

"I didn't think I had the ability to take out that many monsters, but I did, and I saved a cute girl in the process. It made me a more skilled fighter, so I guess it was a good thing."

(You tell Alez about Ilan requesting you to find the handkerchief and her washing it clean)

"So the woman I saved was Ilan." Something seems to have dawned on Alez.

"No wonder she gives me discounts whenever I shop at her place! Hmm... can you give this handkerchief back to her?" Alez seems to have stuffed something inside the handkerchief.
