After I completed my investigations of Wisewood and dangerous beasts, Damian seemed to be even more preoccupied. When I asked him if he needed my help, Damian sent me to see the two White Flame Knights Lyon and Cylice sent as reinforcements by the Senate.

I now curse my wretched curiosity. When they told me about the tragedy of Hidden Rock Village, I could not sleep for days. I do not want to speak of that terrible story again. The morbid may ask Lyon themselves.

A few days later, as Lyon and Cylice prepared to lead the troops to investigate Hidden Rock Village, they asked if I wished to come along. I naturally shouldered my firearm and went with them.

We wanted to discover the origin of the swamp gas that caused the tragedy and look for unaffected survivors.

Unfortunately, we had no luck; the poisoned villagers stared back at us with dead eyes and attacked us.

Lyon instructed the Soldiers to fight, and the Skeletal Villagers fell back.

Our victory didn't last long. Captain Myski rushed out with his skeleton army.

Lyon and Cylice were simply outnumbered. The weight of the tragedy made it difficult for me to fight; these had been innocent civillians, after all.

But I managed to snap out of it just in time. I aimed at the exposed elbow joint of Myski's right arm and pulled the trigger.

I blew Myski's right arm off. Lyon and Cylice took this opportunity to get in a few slashes of their own. Myski roared in anger then retreated with his soldiers.

We lost a half of our men in that battle. Myski kept cursing the Senate during the fight and we heard him say one particular name...

Oz

I learned from Damian that Oz was a mad scientist. He had obviously stolen the bodies of Myski and others before changing them into the tragic war machines they have now become. I swore then that he will pay for everything he did!

I am still enraged by how the Senate handled the Hidden Rock Village incident. They stood by and allowed a lunatic to steal the bodies of our military officer and his soldiers for sick experiments.

Such behavior would not be tolerated in other countries such as Kaslow Royal Family or Jale Steam Corporation!
