"After his defection, his possessions were dumped near a pit."

"Firearms deal more damage per shot than bows, but they're not as fast. A bow and arrow will fire faster, but do less damage per shot. That's the give-and-take; you can get a better feel for 'em by trying out both in battle."

"Now, if you collect enough Cenozoic Stones, you can buy a formula from a craftsman to make Resonance Stones. You can attach them to your weapons to activate additional effects, which can give you the edge in a fight."
