I am just a secretary, but I can help you get the message through to the Duke, Mags insisted with a smile.

Mags listened to your report and rested her chin in her palms.

"The Rebel Base is currently divided into two factions. The Royalist faction is led by Royal Duke Posolain, and they support King Odin. The others, the Radical faction led by Jarl, leader of the Royal Praetorian Guards, want to attack the Beastmen," Mags mused.

"Such a division is bad for the Resistance. I had no clue Jarl had taken such a sinister turn, though."

"The Royal Resistance has the upper hand at the moment, but the numbers of Radicals grow more and more every day. If what you said is true, the rise of the Radicals will put our people at risk."

"You must unearth the truth about Jarl. Please talk to the people at the base; they may have valuable information about Jarl. I would also like to know who the people truly support," Mags commented.

"We'll have to approach this with caution," Mags muttered.

"Have you talked to everyone in the base yet?" She asked.

"The merchants and soldiers support the Royalists, while the children and civilians support the Radicals, eh?" Mags paced uneasily.

"Looks like Jarl has managed to win over some of the ordinary citizens. We must try to stop him." Mags scribbled something in a notebook.

"Before we do anything, we need more information about the Radicals. We can't go in there blind." Mags flipped open her notebook.

"I just received word from our agents that a Beastman spy is hiding in the base's Shopping District."

"If you can defeat the Beastman spy and report to Chief Owen, you'll win the Radicals' trust, and you might just be able to determine Jarl's plot."

"It's an honor to see you again, %n%. We have heard much of your heroic deeds in the Kaslow Wilderness." Mags smiled.

"I'll be brief. To get to the bottom of Jarl's plans, the Royal Army will pretend to help the Radicals."

"We hear that Jarl has ordered a secret assault somewhere in the Kaslow Wilderness, but we don't know his target's identity."

"Please take this letter. When you reach the destination, follow the orders in the letter and, of course, use your own intuition to guide you." Mags placed a letter in your backpack

"So much for Dent."

"Do you want to find the Duke? There is a secret passage in the wall behind me. It leads to a seaside cave in the cliffs outside Kaslow. If you follow the city wall, there should be a way into Kaslow itself. The Duke is likely holed up inside the city," Mags explained calmly.

"I don't think finding the Duke will change a thing, though."

"The revolution is coming. Prepare for a new world, or get out of the way!"
