"Did Caret find anything new in Sprites' Forest?"

"Ancient ruins in Sprites' Forest? Interesting... an ancient city appears on the eastern mountain here I wonder how the places are related; it's worthy looking into."

Maud gave you a machine.

"Here's the machine Jody needs. It's old, though, so I'm not sure it'll work."

"You came from the Ancient Forest? That's quite a trek!"

"Does Physician Angelo want to analyze the mud?" Maud carefully examined the pile of mud.

"Ah, the results are already in. Tell Angelo that the mud is poisoned; the venom is similar to that of the insects inside the bugs' nest in Red Ridge. I sure wish I had a giant can of bug spray right about now!"

"Fumigation devices are so complex!"

"They deteriorate so quickly, too. I'm glad you brought me these parts."

"Did Sangil ask you to bring them here? Heck, you even brought the sticky fluid!"

"I forgot to introduce myself. I am Maud, a scientist from Jale. I'm stationed here to study geological activities."

"Because of the recent major earthquake, Red Ridge has undergone some changes. I'm researching them."

"Pleased to meet you." Maud shook your hand.

"You seem trustworthy. Would you help me?"

"When I went to the south to survey the earth formations there, a red vulture attacked me and stole my tool kit."

"The Red Earth Condors have the tool kit. Can you get it back?"

"I thought for sure the Red Earth Condor would eat me as a midmorning snack."

"Fortunately, it only managed to tear my clothes and grab my pack. Thank goodness I got out of there alive!"

"There's some bird droppings on it, but at least nothing's missing," Maud said, suddenly in a jovial mood.

"Now I can work on the Bug Sprayer again."

"This is the Bug Sprayer Sangil asked me to create. We must test it in real life."

"Please go into the leeches' lair and use the spray." Maud gave you the device.

"Lure out the leader of the insects out and exterminate it! When you succeed, tell Sangil about your accomplishments."

"According to your description, Andy's died from Red Scorpion venom, usually used by Karzak bandits."

"To prevent more victims from falling to this poison, please find the tails of Red Scorpions near Karzak's Camp. I can use them to create an antidote."

"I cannot allow Andy to die in vain. I must make an antidote for this," Maud said, clenching his teeth.

"Please bring back the Flame Scorpion's Tails as soon as possible."

"The venom of this tail claimed Andy's young life," Maud said sadly.

"I will produce the detoxification serum for the people in this area; it should stop them from dying horrible deaths at the hands of Karzak."

"Thank you, %n%."

"Before Jale finds out about the expansion of the bandits' forces, I need volunteers to fight the evil Karzak."

"We have to stop Karzak from conducting excavations at the ancient temple."

"Please destroy all Excavator Panels inside the Karzak's Camp; that will delay their plans."

"Be careful. Karzak isn't stupid. He surely has people guarding the panels."

"We must destroy their digging gear so they cannot excavate the temple."

"This should set their progress back a few days."

"Good job, %n%. Karzak's Camp experienced great losses today."

"If the destruction of those tools delays their plan, your efforts were worth it."

"Those greedy bandits cannot enter the ancient temple!" Maud sat down and formulated a plan.

"The Karzak's Camp may be in a panic because their excavation gear was destroyed, but they'll regroup quickly."

"We can't just destroy their tools. We have to get to the root of the problem and kill Karzak himself."

"Are you up for a challenge?"

"I want to wipe out Karzak. Now's the best time. Seize the opportunity." Maud looked at you with steely determination.

"Defeat Karzak and dissolve his army of bandits."

"Without a leader, Karzak's Camp will collapse." Maud allowed himself a small smile.

"Andy, you can rest in peace."

"Have you found Raser? He might have escaped toward the south after you attacked the camp."

"Bandits are a resilient sort. He won't give up so easily."

"Would you like me to help with this biological analysis?"

"Well yes, but I need a sample."

"Biological analysis is not my specialty......Oh well. Why not?"

"......From these samples and the characteristics you're talking about, these lizards should have the same qualities as some fish."

"When there is no leader in a group, the biggest one will mutate and become a stronger individual that can lead their allies."
