L90. Free Kuda

"You can see me? At last," Kuda managed weakly.

"I got separated from Kuma. This ship... there's something so strange about it."

"Have you seen Kuma? We came aboard to investigate the secret of the water monster. But a flood of monsters came at us. I just remember running... and when I came to, my body was like this..."

"I remember walking into a room with paintings on the wall and lots of wine bottles. I blacked out after that."

"I... wait, I remember something. The Black Bone Captain cast a spell that made my body disappear!"

"All of these... crystal balls... flurried around me... and then everything went gray..."

"The crystal balls contain some kind of mysterious energy. If you can figure out its secret, maybe you can get my body back. I don't want to be a disembodied spirit forever! I already miss eating!"

"I still have a matchstick that the Sprite King gave me. It will teleport you to places where my body might be," Kuda explained helplessly.

"Help me find my body, %n%. And please, find Kuma, too!"

Have you solved the mystery of the crystal yet? whispered Kuda.

"You mean, the Black Bone Captain's spell separated my soul from my body?"

"But... but I was the one who used the Sprite matchstick to defeat the huge water monster!" Kuda shouted.

"I'd never be so irresponsible as to lose my body! That's more of a Kuma thing."

"Um, can we keep this whole 'soul separated from body' thing to ourselves? It can be our little secret. Seriously, please, don't tell anyone, or I'll never hear the end of it!" Kuda whispered earnestly.

"Here, take this as a token of my gratitude. Don't think of it as a bride, per se. Just pretend nothing happened, okay?"
