Before the plague, you could find a boundless grasslands dotted by colorful flowers in the southeast of Bern. It was a tranquil, lovely area, and the Green Grass Cemetary was built nearby (Note 1).

Unfortunately, the plague caused the skeletons buried in the cemetery to become Skeleton Smashers. The once peaceful area was haunted by wandering spirits.

An unknown power seemed to control the Skeleton Smashers (Note 2). It may not have been the plague at all, but people were too terrified to go anywhere near the cemetary, which became known as the Dead End Cemetery.

Those living in Bern just wanted to leave as soon as humanly possible.
