One starry night, a pregnant woman suffered through a difficult birth.

"Push! Push!"

"No! Bring hot water!"

The villagers crowded around, giving their advice and making the situation even worse.

"Calm down!" An imposing grandmother entered the house.

"You've arrived at last, Elder!" Everyone bowed to the grandmother.

"You, yes you, go collect some Fury Butterfly Sprite Powder. It will calm this poor mother and ease the pain. I've told you this so many times, but when the big moment arrives, you all lose your heads!" she snapped.

The man nodded anxiously and rushed off to do the elder's bidding.

The man looked up at the sky. The stars winking back at him were beautiful, but he still felt uneasy. He shuddered.

"There is an omen in the stars. I wish I knew if it were for better or worse..." He shook off his heebie-jeebies and hurried back with the powder, fearing the elder's wrath.

"Elder! The powder!" the man gasped.

"Good." The elder took the powder. "The rest is midwifery. Everyone else, get out! Stop getting in the way! Out! Now!"

Just as everyone waited anxiously outside the house, a flash of bright starlight suddenly descended from the sky and landed precisely upon the roof of the house.

Everyone stared, transfixed by the brilliant light, until they were startled by the cries of a newborn child. The townsfolk cheered and offered their congratulations to those inside the house.

"My dear little Andre!" The father lovingly cradled his son. "May you grow to be healthy and blessed by the stars."
