3. Ruins Adventure

The two decided to explore the Ruins of the Ancients; Bryant had always been forbidden to approach the place, which, of course, made it all the more appealing.

Rob and Bryant investigated the area carefully; Rob used his fiery breath to light the way. However, a Ruins Keeper caught sight of them and chased them.

The ground fell away beneath them, and the duo found themselves trapped in a secret chamber with the Keeper. Bryant clutched his spear, and Rob prepared to breathe more flames.

While Rob breathed a wall of fire, Bryant attacked the Keeper, slashing through his foe with his spear. In the chaos, a stone statue in the chamber crashed into a wall.

Behind the wall, a long passageway appeared. At the end of the passageway was an altar enveloped by sparkling light. A spear was stuck firmly in the altar.

Bryant pulled the spear from the altar with some effort. Suddenly, his arm began to tingle, and a beam of white light burned the mark of a dragon onto his forearm.
