Day 5: Noon

The wind in the desert grew stronger and stronger, blowing away footprints within seconds. It took me 2 days to find a sign of Lance-a footprint that led me to the southern desert, where I fell into a hole.

After my eyes adapted to the darkness, I saw a familiar figure, Lance, surrounded by countless Drought-Tolerant Poisonous Scorpions.

Apparently, Lance accidentally fell into the trap he had set for me.

In this lair, surrounded by writhing scorpions, we decided to call a truce so we could get out of the situation alive.

It took us a day to climb out of the hole, but we made it. That marked the first and only time I'd ever cooperated with a con man.

Our "friendship" was short-lived. As soon as we were out of the hole, Lance slashed at my leg and threw scorpion poison directly on the bleeding wound.
