Unfortunately, many Goblins were quite jealous of Kukuryu.

When the king was seriously ill, rumor had it he was the target of a sinister plot hatched by Kukuryu. Though this wasn't true, the king banished Kukuryu to the land of Tokakumi, which is now known as Plague Forest.

Upon learning of the wizard's exile, the Werewolves he had once defeated planned to ambush him in an act of vengeance.

This time, Kukuryu wasn't so lucky. The Werewolves had studied his witchcraft and were able to combat his powers.

Kukuryu tried to resist their attacks, but he was outnumbered. The Werewolves surrounded him, gnashing their terrible teeth.

Kukuryu threw his staff into the sky and closed his eyes, muttering a spell.

Suddenly, the air pressure dropped, and thunder and lightning tore open the sky. Kukuryu held up his bleeding hands and let his blood spray outward. Each drop turned into a fireball that attacked the Werewolves.

Kukuryu managed to fend off the Werewolves and, battered and bruised, dragged himself into the depths of Tokakumi.
