What are they?

Extinguished Powers are items that can be obtained on maps or in dungeons.

There are two types of Extinguished Powers:

Basic Extinguished Powers , obtainable as drops from monsters, bosses, etc.
They can be exchanged and grant a certain amount of reputation with the corresponding altars.

Concentrated Powers can also be obtained as drops, but with a lower drop rate from monsters.
However, they are much easier to obtain in dungeons.

Uses:

Collecting these powers serves several purposes:
increase altar reputation through exchanges in order to unlock many archivable items, such as:

talents
consumables
enhancement stones
sprite costumes
as well as tickets that grant access to the altar dungeons.

Each altar has its own dungeon.

Special Power (Level 71)
Convertible Unknown Power

After being exchanged, this power grants reputation.
You will be able to increase 4 reputations: Ilya, Technopolis, Kaslow, and Lost Paradise.

To do so, head to the Lost Paradise maps.
There, sages (NPCs) will offer exchanges that let you obtain these reputations:

Misty Plateau: Ilya + Lost Paradise (Mina x:256 ; y:182) or (Dulai x:85 ; y:674)
Millennial Archipelago: Technopolis + Lost Paradise (Manu x:823 ; y:473) or (Chiki x:317 ; y:164)
Valley of Spirits: Kaslow + Lost Paradise (Chiroba x:316 ; y:153) or (Surreal x:838 ; y:548)
