Forgotten Sprite Micaca

"Hey! Sprite Messenger!" Micaca immediately lashes out.

"Stay back, you! Vile villain! Odious toad!"

"Humrf! Well, seeing as you've vanquished the monsters, I suppose I must conclude that you're not the enemy."

"No! As if I'd trust you!" His sudden outburst causes you to jump back.

"Never again! Never again! I am through with trusting Sprite Messengers! Through!"

You hurriedly explain that it was Qayoff who sent you.

"Did you say Qayoff?! It feels like eons since I last heard that na-" He suddenly stops and stares at you, eyes narrowed.

"No! Qayoff is nothing but a coward! Weak-kneed wimp! Gutless gibbon!"

"If you want my trust, you'll have to earn it! Bring me some spores from the Sycophant Tree!"

"I need them to re-energize!"

"No spores, no trust!"

"Bring me 10 spores and I'll consider listening to what you have to say."

"So you brought the spores after all. Fine, fine! I suppose I trust you now." Micaca's earlier look of suspicion appears to have faded. Somewhat.

Ruica's prior revelation suddenly makes a whole lot of sense.

"Only Sprite Messengers could carry out something of this magnitude. You're simply unaware of your own power!"

"A long time ago, a Sprite Messenger fell to the darkness, losing all kindness and virtue. Others soon followed."

"With Chaos Energy, they caused a rift in space, giving birth to this place."

"Now go! You won't get another word out of me! It's Qayoff you should be speaking with!"

"You again?" Micaca furrows his brow at your presence.

"What are you loafing around here for? Didn't I send you back to Qayoff?"

"What's that? He's under a curse? Farcical fib! Utter untruth!" You then relay Qayoff's enigmatic message.

"You say that he... has accepted it?" He falls silent for a moment, something you suspect is quite a rarity.

"Hmm... I see..."

"I bet you anything this is his master's doing. Why Qayoff remains loyal to that degenerate is beyond me."

"After all, his master is one of those responsible for the creation of this domain. That fallen Sprite Messenger is nothing but a traitor." Micaca scowls.

"I assume the curse of which Qayoff spoke had something to do with his master ordering him never to reveal the existence of the Evil Gathering." He shakes his head with a sigh.

"For him to say that he's accepted it... I believe he means for you to end his master's life."

"You must eradicate the Chaos Suffused Elemental in order to prove your strength!"

"Have you gotten rid of the Chaos Suffused Elemental?"

"You'll need to focus your power if you ever hope to accomplish the next task!"

"If you can't even manage to defeat the Chaos Suffused Elemental, you won't stand a chance later!"
