"I shouldn't have done that..." Saalu laments, before suddenly discovering you standing before him.

"Outsider! What do you want? You're not welcome here! Raum and the others may accept you... But I won't!" Saalu pokes his walking stick at you.

You ask the elder about Siel.

"You... how do you know that name...?" Saalu's voice trembles as he asks you.

After you tell him what has happened, Saalu sighs.

"Ah... A child was born into our tribe with a body as big as a human's. Because of this, he was discriminated against... that child was Siel."

"He was a bright child, and a student that made me proud. He believed that if he could do some groundbreaking research, people would change their attitudes towards him. So one day he ran off to find Jiladas, and managed to steal some research." Saalu recounts with a sigh.

"Afterwards, Siel came to tell me about it. "He thought that the Jiladas research referred to a power source hidden in the Dazzledell Wood, and that it would substantially improve our technological abilities."
