"Since the town magistrate is getting forgetful, when I go to catch fish, I'll make him some dried fish so he'll stop forgetting things," Rodney says with a smile.

"The fish in Nolan Lake have a thick layer of fat, so it's extra hard to roast them. I've failed a dozen times but I didn't give up!! In the end, I found a method of roasting the fish, and now I succeed every time!" Rodney smiles with confidence.

"But really, whenever the town magistrate cooks fish, he succeeds. I guess he's just lucky like that." Rodney scratches his head.

"Oh, you've come to the right person, my friend. First--a fishing rod!" Rodney explains, waving his arms enthusiastically.

"Once you've got the tools for the job, find a nice spot out of the way. I recommend the boulders next to the lake. The final ingredient is patience. Lots and lots of patience. Fish don't necessarily bite as much as you'd like, and even when they do, it might be a while before the one you want takes the bait."

"Oh, yeah. Don't forget to take your fish to the fire in Angler Village once you've caught it. You can grill it there. A properly gutted and grilled fish is the best thing you can run past your taste buds around here."
