"The village's disaster began with the drying out of the Spring of Life. And then there was the glass infection, which grew worse and worse. Many villagers lost their minds and turned into monsters," Sphinx says sadly.

"There aren't many normal people left in the village..." Sphinx has tears in her eyes.

"I can't bear to watch those villagers who have turned into monsters go on like this anymore. I beg you...release them from their suffering. I think it would be what they'd want as well..." Tears fall from Sphinx's eyes.

"Although the Spring of Life has dried up, I hear there is a Holy Lake in the south made of the waters of the Spring of Life which can cure the infection."

"Two villagers went there to bring back spring water a couple of days ago, but they haven't returned. Maybe... maybe they've turned into monsters as well. I think I might become a monster like the others before long..." Sphinx lets out a deep sigh.

"You can ask the magistrate of Granton about the Holy Lake. He knows more about it than I do. I would like to stay here with my people, alive or dead." Sphinx says, her mind made up.
