Villager Marco

"What is it that you seek from me? I'm busy. Bother someone else," Marco snapped impatiently.

You placed the twigs and elk meat silently before Marco. His jaw dropped.

"You! How did you know that the village needed wood and food?"

"Did Chrono tell you? Or did my face give away the secret?" Marco touched his face self-consciously.

"Chrono used to collect all the food and wood for the village himself."

"Everyone got used to it and grew chubby and lazy, and now that Chrono is disabled, no one is willing to go hunt for elk with me."

"Nobody cares about the Grizzly Bears attacking the village, either."

"Grizzly Bears prowl to the east and west of the village. Please slay them for us. The layabouts in the village cannot be counted on for help."

You helped us, even though we are nothing but strangers to you. How touching.

"I hear fewer and fewer terrifying bear growls outside the village."

"Thank you for your help. You lightened my workload significantly."

"Please give this to Chrono at the village entrance." Marco pulled a simple tree ring from his pocket.

"This was left for me by my mother, Fiona."

"My mother loved to hang around Chrono all day long when she was little."

"She died of old age a while ago. She asked me to give this tree ring to Chrono to remember her by."
