I went on with several more experiments.

And it turned out that these mud-like, moving polluters were actually absorbing the filth in the Ancient City of Vines.

There are many dangerous things there.

My preliminary investigation showed that the further you went inside, the worse the pollution was, whereas the area closer to the outside with Mires around was less polluted.

In particular, the waterfall close to the exit was entirely clear.

My first theory is that Molilada and Mires are creatures living on some kind of filth.

Without a functional circulatory system in their bodies, they keep taking in pollutants and won't stop even though the pollutants flow out of their bodies.

This is why it looks like they are moving and dissolving at the same time.

Maybe they were created out of some special kind of reason, for example, to treat the pollution in the ancient city.

Problem is, no matter how many Mires I killed, I still can't figure out where they came from.

Maybe the traces were eroded by the filth.

The water quality of the waterfall is great. It is not polluted even with so many Mires around.

Not sure these Mires know about it themselves.
