L15. A Duel of Tastebuds

"Hello, Sprite Messenger! Can you hear me?"

You look around to find the source of the voice.

"I am Pepin, contacting you from Sprite Island. Have you heard that the Traveling Gourmet, Mewley, came to our island?"

"Just think: a famous gourmet actually wants to try MY dishes. I'm so excited!" "At last, my culinary skills are being recognized!"

"But the Ingredient Hunters have been wreaking havoc. They stole all my ingredients! I'm so mad, but I just can't defeat them... Sprite Messenger, are you willing to come to Sprite Island to help me out?"

Since you have nothing else to do, you decide to help Pepin out.

"When Mewley arrived on Sprite Island, I was taking a nap. I was awakened by a loud voice, telling Jeeves to fetch his finest chef! Jeeves and I were stunned."

Pepin sighs.

"This traveler was indeed different. Such tremendous lung capacity!"

You nod in agreement with Pepin.

"Wait, don't go. You don't seem to have anything to do. Why don't you stay here and help me?"

"The first step in creating a scrumptious gourmet dish is choosing the ingredients. But contrary to popular opinion, the most expensive ingredients are not always needed. Preserving the flavors of the ingredients while cooking is just a small part of it. Much more important is the combination of different flavors..."

Pepin keeps talking as he wanders off. He truly is a gourmet Sprite.
