Picking up the strange crystal, you detect a nearby monster in your peripheral vision.
You quietly wait for it to attack, yet it does nothing more than stare,
its eyes focused not on you but the object in your hand.

You recall how a person in town alluded to the existence of a large crab somewhere south of Emperor Lakeside (486, 191).
Though it has attacked numerous unsuspecting travelers,
the local authorities have been unable to locate, let alone kill, the elusive creature.

You wonder if the crystal could prove helpful in luring it out. Head over there now
to test your theory.

"Why the long face, my friend? You look like someone just shot a booger in your porridge! Ha!"

Fabioso greets you with a broad smile.

"If you're in need of my awe-inspiring skill set, you need only ask!

Fabioso eyes the crystal in your hand with a bemused expression.

"What in the world is it? Where did you find it? And why did that
monster have it in the first place?"

"What would you say to leaving it here with me? I can have it examined by an expert
at the next Demon Hunters meeting."

Taking the crystal from you, he hands you your reward
and sends you off with one of his signature laughs.
