L68. A Polar Threat

The crystal is unlike anything you've seen before. Moreover, the circumstances surrounding its contamination are decidedly bizarre. You observe that every time you take it out of your backpack, the monsters in the immediate area slowly begin to close in.

You wipe its surface clean to reveal a black energy crystal. This must be what is attracting the monsters. Use it at (903, 497) to test its effects on the creatures there.

Recently, the monsters inhabiting the Eternal Mountains appear drawn to a black energy crystal, causing them to behave strangely. Could this crystal truly possess a force capable of attracting monsters?
