You examined a device for determining direction. Its pointer always indicated the same direction, like a compass.

You had a pretty good sense of direction and decided you didn't need it. However, you knew that Cleric Jema of Black Swamp got lost quite often, and determined that perhaps she would find the device useful.

"I have absolutely no sense of direction, and the Black Swamp is like a maze."

"I'm really afraid that once I get in there, I'll never find my way out," said Jema, genuinely fearful.
