Day 11: Early Morning

I quickly grabbed the dragon by its tail and mounted it. Lance and I were now battling high above the ground, dancing around once another and balancing on the dragon's scaly back.

I stepped into the wrong position and stumbled. He took the opportunity to kick me off the dragon's back. I grabbed him by his sleeve in an attempt to take him down with me. The sleeve ripped, and I fell helplessly.

At that moment, my life flashed before my eyes. I knew it wasn't my time yet.

I took out a whip and managed to lasso the dragon's feet. It worked, but it was only a matter of time before I would fall to my death.

I swung back and forth to get closer to the dragon, then thrust my sword deep into its soft underbelly.

(Though you personally saw the colossal Stone Pillar Dragons in the Roaring Maw, the dragon described in the book is apparently bigger, as it allowed room for two people to battle on its back.)
