There is a kind of creature called Stratos that lives outside the White Spring Village in the middle of the Eternal Mountains. The Freezing Wind Spirits have white, smooth fur and are very beautiful creatures.

They are called the Stratos because of their chilling breath. This is what sets them apart from ordinary animals.

To the Northland people, the Stratos are an ill omen.

Legend says that if a Stratos stops on your shoulder, you'll have bad luck for three years.

Another legend states that if a group of Freezing Wind Spirits howls together, someone will die soon. Therefore, the people of the Northland stay away from the habitat of the Freezing Wind Spirits.

Every psychic in Elsaland has a Freezing Wind Spirit as a pet.

They believe that the breath exhaled by the Freezing Wind Spirits can increase their psychic power. Sometimes, they divine through the Freezing Wind Spirits.
