When I realized that Minnie was the most important person in my life, it was already too late.

I was once the most renowned Paladin in the North, and I took pride in my profession as a Paladin, determined to achieve great deeds.

Then, at the wedding, I saw Minnie holding another man's hand. That man placed a brilliant diamond ring on Minnie's finger.

Minnie's fingers, which once played elegant notes on the piano and gently caressed my wounded shoulder, no longer belong to me from this day forward!

A few days later, the Black Nest Werewolves besieged the fortress of Arsalan. I immediately leaped from the city walls, fighting the Black Nest Werewolves in a Bloodstained battle, as if I had no regard for my life.

Though I was badly injured, the people of Elsaland brought me back inside their gates and praised me as a hero.

They called me the "mad paladin." Only I knew that my actions were not brave at all. I had disgraced the title of "paladin." I only wished to kill those werewolves until my pain faded, or until they killed me.
