If one did, I'd consider it destiny! I just don't know what to do! Argh! This is so embarrassing!"

Chara nervously mutters to herself.

"That notebook's, uh, military top secret! You didn't peek, did you...?" Her eyes narrow suspiciously.

Your hands fly up as you hastily shake your head.

"Hmm... You sure are jumpy today."

You inwardly facepalm over incriminating yourself. This calls for a distraction!

"I-is that a Gleaming Crystal?" Her pupils dilate at the sight of the glittering mineral.

"How did you know...?" A rosy glow spreads across her cheeks.

You say that you heard her mention it in passing. It's why you kept your eyes peeled around camp.

"To think you'd been so attentive to my words... Could this be destiny...?" Chara murmurs to herself.

"T-thank you for bringing me my journal and this beautiful crystal..."

Chara's face now resembles a tomato.
