"Can I ask you to go check it out again and head deeper this time? Try to bring some meat back with you too. We can dry it out and make jerky."

"Thank you again for your help."

"How was it? Did you find anything new?"

"Did you see any tracks from the Investigation Team?"

You give Chara what you found and tell her that, sadly, her friend is most likely gone.

"How can that... how can that be? No! She must have dropped this while escaping! She wouldn't go down that easily!"

"She must be waiting for me somewhere out there..."

(Chara's voice begins to shake and crack.)

"Where is the rest of the vanguard? Did you find anything else?"

You shake your head and tell her you only found the handkerchief and the pile of bones.

"I see..."

(You look at Chara holding back tears. She seems defeated by the whole situation.)
