"But the people didn't believe him, and in a fit of rage, drove him away." Regret is written all over Saalu's face.

"Not long after, I regretted what we had done. In my heart I felt that he had only wanted to help the tribe so I asked Raum to find him, but so far there has been no trace of him. Perhaps he went into the forest."

"Here, take these biscuits, they're Siel's favorite. Perhaps you can find him... please help me bring this child back." Saalu beseeches you.

"Did you find him?" Raum asks you impatiently.

"That child... he resented us even more after we drove him away. He lost all reason and handed our research and development resources to the Beastmen. In hindsight, I really regret what we did..."

"The parchment you showed me before was a report from an investigation by the Royal Army for Jiladis. Unfortunately, they were attacked by the Beastmen en route..."

"This letter means that he has already been punished... I hope I can forgive him..." Saalu chokes back the emotion.

"It's all my fault... I hurt him, and have brought calamity down on Shangri-La..." Saalu looks deeply saddened.
