"Answer if you can hear me, Abu!" Caret shouted, his eyes glazed over.

You approached him, but he ignored you.

"Must... must kill those cunning dirty cats..." he muttered.

It seemed like you'd have to hunt down some of the leopards before reporting back to Jody.

Did you find my teacher? How is he? Jody asked anxiously.

"You did it! How will I ever thank you?"

You asked Jody why Caret insisted on entering the forest.

"Well, the master of this forest is known as Sadro. He has been my teacher's lifelong nemesis, and Caret swore to defeat him. After evil powers corrupted the forest, another creature melded with Sadro and infused it with even more power. Caret knew that if he didn't defeat Sadro, it would mean disaster for the entire world. Unfortunately, he was defeated, and his friend Abu was killed."

"He now wanders the forest thinking only of revenge. I must save him!"
