"It will show up if you take this to the depths of the springs. When it appears, show no mercy."

"Don't forget to take something from it and bring that item to Makka, the manager at Rin's Hot Spring. Tell him I asked you to drive the beast away," Faynichen emphasized.

"What is Faynichen up to now? Why did he ask someone to drive those monsters away from the hot springs?"

"I suppose it's bound to make him a profit."

"If I were you, I wouldn't just do everything Faynichen asks without questioning it, or you might end up in a sticky situation," Makka advised.

"Are you saying Faynichen sent you to kill the monster in the hot springs? Impossible! That greedy miser only does things if he can make a profit. That's why he drove the Stolaks away. How ironic that the original owners of the land have now become bandits."

"I don't care about the gem. That jerk just wants the hot springs for himself!" Makka hurled the gem into a thicket of trees.
