Quest dialogues

L10. Devoted Love 1
Intermediate
You silently looked at the soul preservation crystal and considered turning around and leaving.

Why on earth did you think you could communicate with an inanimate object?
End
You placed the letter onto the crystal, and the soul of a woman emerged.

"Young %c%, thank you for finding this letter for me. My husband left to travel the world, and I've been waiting for him for years."

"Now that I've finally received word from him, I can rest peacefully."

The woman smiled contentedly and slowly faded away.

You understood the concept of loyalty quite well after this encounter.

What were these strange incidents the Magic Messengers mentioned?

You'd have to report back quickly!
End
"A Magic Messenger turned into a monster that no one had ever seen before, you say?" asked the voice in the crystal, unsurprised.

"So they've shown up on the other side, then. There's no time to waste."

"You must collect information for me in Jale. Talk to the miners in the mountain. I'm sure they'll have useful information." The voice was now hardly more than a whisper.

"This is very important."

"Once you have the information, come to Kaslow."
