L68. Fond Memories

"I lost a necklace during the evacuation. It's a metal, tear drop shaped pendant. It's not exactly dripping with diamonds, but it means a lot to me." Era looked down, blushing.

"I hear that the Bloody Polypod loves to swallow shiny objects."

"Maybe you can look inside its stomach and try to find the necklace. Wow, this really escalated quickly, didn't it?"

"My mother left the necklace to me; she died when I was small. It represents her love, and I never take it off."

"It is immensely important to me."

"I should be happy to have my pendant back, but I can't help but worry. I hear Kaslow's been attacked!"

Era opened the pendant to expose a weathered black and white photo of her mother. She studied the picture with a sad sigh.
