L10. Mature Love 1

You read the letter.

"If you hope to find real, true, mature love, you must find a deeper understanding of your beloved somewhere deep within you... probably behind your knee joint."

"Please take this letter to the west business district of Ilya and ask the Quill Book Merchant Vanessa about her experiences with love."

"You'll find her attitude toward the whole thing quite mature."

Hey! Young %c%, Quill Publishing just released a new book called Life Warning! Vanessa announced happily.

You handed Vanessa the letter.

"Mature love, eh?"

"I used to write fantasy romance novels. You know, the kind with muscle-bound men on the cover, heaving bosoms, that sort of thing."

"I sold them to a writer who turned them into a play. The play was a huge hit and caused many young girls to believe that love is just like a fantasy."

"I wish I hadn't led them astray. Now, I only write books like Warnings for the Clueless."

You realized that mature love was based on reality, not fantasy.
