"Kuma was supposed to follow me. Can you find him for me?"
You had serious reservations about Kuda's version of events.
"Why don't I look for him myself? Well, I have to stay here and see if he comes back, right? You're supposed to stay where you are when you're lost-oops!" Kuda clapped his hand over his mouth, realizing he'd slipped up.
With further interrogation, Kuda finally came clean.
"I kept charging ahead-Kuma's a real slowpoke-and ruined our investigation and clean-up plan. Kuma went nuts on me."
"Kuma's at the bottom of the mountain destroying everything in sight. He's gone mad with fury. If he finds me, I know he'll kill me with his bare hands! Can you calm him down for me, %c%?"
"I don't dare to approach Kuma when he's like this," Kuda squeaked meekly.

"Can you check to see if Kuma is still angry for me?" Kuda whispered, glancing around.
"You wouldn't like Kuma when he's angry. Last time, he..." Kuda turned white as a sheet and trailed off.
"Forget I said anything. Some things should just be left alone..."
Fin
"Thank you for your help. It couldn't have been easy soothing Kuma. I promise not to make him so angry in the future." Kuda shivered.
You suspected that Kuda wouldn't be able to keep his promise.
