"If you are not a true believer in the Frost Princess, leave her sacred realm at once!" Darsus turned away angrily.

"I've already told you that the Miracle Maiden doesn't exist! Both the Day of Destiny and the destruction of Saphael brought by the resurrection of the Ancient Sprite King are nonsense! Those criminals who started lurking around the temple have begun to irk me. Leave here; I've more important things to do than explain fairytales to a child!" Darsus shouted hysterically.

"If you have so much time to spare, why not do something productive and get rid of the bandits who threaten the temple?"

"The temple will not know peace as long as those criminals lurk around every corner. What am I supposed to tell the Princess?" Darsus asked anxiously.

"You must drive those criminals away. Please. I don't have any money, but I do have some jewelry. I can offer you some baubles, if you're interested."

"You don't want the jewelry? It might not made from precious stones, but it's quite fashionable."

"However, if you ever decide to stop helping the Guard, come back, and I'll help you discover the real Truth," Darsus commented darkly.

"I don't know who the Miracle Maiden is, but I do know it is all part of the Praetorian Guard's conspiracy. I wouldn't have told you anything if you didn't keep pestering me."

"A lie surrounded by truth is easily punctured. But if truth is surrounded by lies, it can be harder to sort out."

"That's all I know. Can I ask you one last favor? My friend Ronberry in Heirloom Peninsula asked me to find someone to patrol the nearby crystal mine. You will probably find a lot of claim jumpers."

"A special Glacial Jelly Beast lurks nearby. Its body contains crystals filled with frost energy. If you collect those crystals and bring them to me, the Frost Princess will watch over you and your future path."

"You might think it sounds like something Carso's believers would encourage, but you've got to trust me," Darsus insisted, his voice tense.

"The Princess's sacred realm still remains so pure and bright amidst the snow and ice, doesn't it?" Darsus asked thoughtfully.

"Anything unclean is detected as soon as it enters."

"I recently discovered something in the jelly beast's body that doesn't belong here. I think it might be related to the ice cliff nearby. Can you investigate? Do it for the Frost Princess."

"What is this residue flowing from the ice cliff? If this is unclean, I can't allow it to contaminate the home of the divine Princess," Darsus explained, his brow furrowed.

"Have a look around. Leave no stone unturned, and report even the smallest clues back to me."

"What are these remains? They don't look like any creature I've ever seen..."

"And they came from the ice cliffs?"

"I don't know where these ice cliffs originated, but they were here before the Temple of Frost."

"Looks like we need more clues. I shall keep an eye on this matter."
