"Not long ago, someone stole into this peaceful little town
and started to ambush the local residents at night, turning them into glass.

"From the intelligence we've gathered, it seems the culprit was
in a confused state of mind at the time, shouting something about
wanting to oppose the evil Saphael and protect the original Saphael, or some such nonsense."


"Although we're not sure why, the glass is the key to the mystery.
We had a plan, but we were unable to find anyone to act as bait! Don't run away!
We're old friends, aren't we?"

Charlotte looks at you, all smiles.

"Go to the town and find the Glazed Massive Ants
and bring the glass crystals they carry back to me."

"From a certain point of view, even though the perpetrator didn't really have all his marbles,
he was actually spot on about a few things."

Charlotte looks around her, and after checking that no-one else is around,
allows her sadness to show.

"If you'd been here before, you would know.
The kind-hearted villagers here..."

"They're labeled as evil by those unable to accept them."

"I see you're as efficient as ever!"

Charlotte takes the glass crystals
before starting to get to work on them with a strange magic tool.

"Now for the next step! I think you know what to do...
Wait just a moment. The tool to lure out the criminal is almost ready."


As she works, Charlotte hums some strange melody.
Suddenly it hits you. There's something of vital importance that she's not telling you!
