June 27. The sky is still covered in thick fog. A revolting stench hangs in the air. After more than a month of investigation, I still hadn't managed to prove that these phenomena had anything to do with people inside Kaslow. I don't have enough evidence to expose this conspiracy, either.

However, I recently received orders to investigate an incident. Bugs have invaded the mines. It's more than a little odd; bugs have no use for minerals, so what is their motivation?

I decided to set the shadow over Kaslow aside for the time being and look into the buggy situation. I brought a can of extra strength Raid with me, just in case.

The area under the bugs' control was far wider and deeper than we imagined, but we still didn't understand what they were trying to do, and it's not like you can get much information out of a spider.

I needed to find out why they wanted these large amounts of minerals.

However, when I tried to find an expert to help me, I learned that everyone in Ilya who had anything to do with researching these minerals had gone missing. And the plot thickens!

I eventually found a survivor; the bugs tried to kill her due to her connection with the minerals. She was terrified and trembling; she could hardly speak. I poured her a glass of water to try to calm her.

The Magic Messenger started describing the bloodbath and the secret of the rare minerals.

The minerals contained powerful energies; when they became unstable, the powerful explosion could twist time itself.

When I heard this, I immediately flipped through my notes and recalled that Frantik had mentioned magic circles glowing with a dark light. It was all coming together.
