The dragon wailed and began to fall toward the Water Resources Survey Site. I let go as we came closer and rolled to a safe stop on the ground, panting.

Lance and the dragon were not so lucky. The dragon fell, crushing Lance's lower body. He was unable to move.

"Don't go any closer!" Lance screamed, but apparently not to me. I turned to see a Bath Stone Warrior approaching.

Lance had no time to scream as the Bath Stone Warrior began to beat him mercilessly. I hid nearby, too frightened to move.

When the Warriors finally departed, Lance was beaten, bloodied, and nearly dead. I tied him up and took him back to Kaslow.

I had pursued him for 11 days. How exhausting.
