Mommy always spends a long time shopping. Every time I try to sneak away, she will tell me to stay close, or she will tell Father about me!

A few days ago someone calling themselves a team leader for the Jelly Rabbit Fan Club came to Jale. He said you can join the club if you have the Jelly Rabbit Coin, so me and Ledisia have decided to join the club.

I don't know what it's all about, but if Ledisia said she's in, then I'm in.

When I went to the square, Ledisia was already there wearing a pink lady's hat.

"Joseph! You are late!" She pointed the insect net she was holding at me.

Mother warned me of beasts, but I was determined to explore the Steam Mine outside Jale alongside Ledisia.

As we discussed which way to go, Ledisia, grinning, ran toward a giant Sunbird. I tried to stop her, but before I could, the bird kicked Ledisia and ran off.

I scampered after the bird, eager to punish it for hurting her, but Ledisia pulled me back.

"Joseph! Look behind you!" she cried.

I turned to see a huge Frilled Lizard staring at us with bloodlust in its eyes.
