"In exchange for this potion, I'll let you in on a piece of useful intelligence."

"Lieutenant Karzak heard that a businessman in the Southern Island, Tobys, had acquired a good mallet."

"He wants to exchange his Heavy Chaser for Tobys's mallet. Although it was a poor trade, Tobys had no choice but to accept the terms."

"Maybe you can fool Tobys and get the mallet. Afterward, the two sides will blame one another."

"It wasn't easy acquiring that magic weapon. That blasted Karzak! He wants me to give him the Heavy Chaser in exchange, and that thing's a hunk of junk compared to this."

"I was able to squeeze a couple more items out of him for the trade, but I'm still getting a raw deal. Next time I get something nice, I'm keeping quiet about it."

"Lieutenant Karzak sent you?" Tobys sized you up.

"Leave your stuff behind and take this weapon. Now get lost. Tell Karzak I won't be bullied into another unfair trade like this ever again."
