"That was quite a fall! I really hate those beasts, weasels and crabs." Beru said, wincing.

"These animals run wild! If I hadn't hurt myself in a fall, I would be out there taking them on myself."

"Those foolish creatures must not be allowed to get off lightly, or they'll soon start attacking others!"

"Wonderful! Thanks to you, we've taught those animals a lesson they won't soon forget," Beru exclaimed excitedly.

"You certainly lived up to your reputation. You're a true hero."

"Please hunt down more of those animals. Show them that they cannot trifle with the mighty demon hunters!"

"In my younger years, I thought nothing of killing a hundred monsters a day. Rare monsters were easy pickings, too."

"Lately, though, I can really feel my years; my bones are creaking, and my muscle is disolving before my very eyes."

"However, the same fire and enthusiasm that burned within me in my youth smolders inside you, as well."

"Back so soon? You are certainly impressive."

"Take this reward. I have high hopes for your future."

"Could you take care of a few more of the nearby fishmen? I know you've got the drive!"

"It used to be easy to hunt down over a hundred monsters a day. I've bagged quite a few rare beasts myself."

"At my age, though, my body just can't keep up. Time is a harsh mistress!"

"I can sense passion within you. You remind me of, well, me!"

"My name is Beru, and I am assigned to Frostfire Pass."

"Back so soon? Wow, you're not just a hero, you're an efficient hero!"

"Can you take out more local fishmen and their crabby cohorts?"

"In the meantime, please accept this small token of gratitude from the locals. I don't know where these map fragments will lead, but if you piece them together, you're bound to find something."

"Is there anything I can help you with?"

Beru asks you, eager and alert.

"I hope you'd tell me if you came across anything strange. It's getting more and more dangerous out there."

"You mean you plan to just blindly go in the direction those minerals pull you towards?"

She frowns, her face hardening at the announcement of what she believes to be a reckless endeavor.

"You know I'm grateful for all your help, but... please, don't hesitate to come to me first if you find yourself in danger."

You cannot help but feel somewhat guilty for worrying her and apologize. Beru's expression immediately softens, and she offers you a warm smile as she hands you your reward.
