"Since you are a Sprite Messenger too, I will provide a few trials to help you advance."

"First, you must punish the Snow Faeries in the southern forest."

"Those Snow Faeries have been causing trouble everywhere lately. They've run amok!"

"Those Snow Faeries are behaving much better now. You passed the first trial."

"This trial tested your determination. Without determination, you would not succeed."

"Rest up, and prepare for the second trial."

"Now I will test your ability to sense natural energy." Phoebios grinned.

"Take this Power Sphere and go to the Center of Trol Stonehenge in the southwest. Use it to absorb energy in the center of the giant rocks."

"If the holder cannot sense natural energy, then the Power Sphere will not be able to absorb energy. Use your heart and feel nature swirling around you."

"We're preparing you for the Day of Destiny. Did you think it would be easy? Did Rocky have it easy when he prepared for his big fight against Apollo Creed? No! He had to run up those stairs a million times and listen to 'Eye of the Tiger on repeat!"

"Only by uniting the energy of goodwill in the world can you fight off evil!"

Phoebios checked the Power Sphere you brought back.

"Good work. You have passed my second trial."

"This trial tested your love of nature. Without love, you can easily lose yourself to the dark side."

"The trials will get harder. If you feel up to it, let's continue."

"When the Day of Destiny comes, you will face numerous battles and find yourself outnumbered."

"The evil Gray Yeti in the west will be good practice."

"Ambush the Gray Yeti tribe, destroy them, and return in one piece," Phoebios commanded.

"Those Gray Yeti are more fearsome than normal Yetis. They have twisted minds and no corncob pipes to speak of."

"When the Day of Destiny comes, those frosty fellows will join the Doomsday Emissary immediately."

"You need to calm down." Phoebios looked into your eyes.

"This trial tested your strength."

"You're strong, it's true, but you must learn to control your strength. Do not let your anger and power control you."

"I am going to teach you how to distinguish between different kinds of power," Phoebios said.

"Demon Sword Spirits and Demonized Fallen Heroes haunt the Vilefiend Spire to the east. There is a basic difference between the power of those two demon spirits."

"The Demon Sword Spirits' power stems from Magic Sword Shards, and the Demonized Fallen Heroes' power comes from Mystic Souls."

"Get them back for me."

"There are many kinds of power in the world."

"You must learn to distinguish various kinds of evil power from one another and react accordingly."

"You finally returned." Phoebios nodded sagely.

"You will find that the demon power of a Mystic Soul vanishes rapidly after losing its host. However, the power of a Magic Sword Shard remains strong after losing its host."

"A Magic Sword Shard is a kind of magic container; it stores magic and maintains it for long periods of time. A Mystic Soul exists through twisted will, so its power comes and goes."

"Demonized Fallen Heroes were ancient hero spirits who once protected the Trol Kingdom. Demon spirits killed them."

"After the kingdom perished, the hatred of the spirits turned them into demon spirits."

"Chicaniles was a great hero who led the Trol warriors against demon spirits, but now he is also a demon spirit. It must torture his very soul."

"Take this Grievous Psalm, read it out outside the Vilefiend Spire, and he will appear. Help his spirit rest in peace at last."

"The demon spirits around the Vilefiend Spire are the most fearsome demons in Winterflake Forest."

"If you are looking to train, I suggest using the demon spirits for target practice."

"Plus, if you destroy a certain amount of demon spirits, I will give you rewards as encouragement."

"Not a bad deal, right?"

"You need training, and so does your Sprite."

"You should release your Sprite more often and let it fight your enemy. That way, you and your Sprite will work more smoothly together."

"It gets boring in those huts with nothing to do but drink root beer and cross-stitch samplers."
