"So you came from White Spring Village? Then I can probably guess why you've come."

"Duolon came to us. I know what's going on in the fortress."

"But Border Research Institute is an academic institution without much military power. We can barely fend for ourselves, so I told Duolon to seek out others."

"I wield a test tube, not a sword, and to be honest, I don't even wield a test tube that well."

"You're not from Elsaland, are you?" Hegel asked, alarm crossing his face.

"If you want my help, you'll need to assist me first."

"Someone damaged the snow shade on our research institute. If you can get some Dorsal Dimetrodon Bone and Great Dimetrodon Skin, we can fix it, and the people here will be grateful for your help."

"You can find Dorsal Dimetrodons and Great Dimetrodons east of the research institute."

"The Oblivion Border is no longer forgotten. It's become quite popular recently, actually. I think they're considering building a dance club there."

"But that's neither here nor there," Hegel said dismissively.

"Way to deal with the dinosaurs! I'm impressed."

"Quickly, let's fix the snow shade! We have the materials!" Hegel yelled to a few researchers.

"I can't stand those stupid birds anymore!" Hegel grumbled.

"Iron-Eating Moonbirds flutter over the lake to the west. They keep dive bombing our institute."

"The Iron-Eating Moonbirds eat metal, but they also love to snack on our snow shade."

"Destroy them for us. While you're at it, get some Moonbird Egg Essence for our researchers to eat. Nothing like an essence over easy!"

"After learning that the fortress Elsaland fell, the researchers here have been in a rather sour, distressed mood."

"I am single, but many of the researchers have families living in the fortress."

"Check your equipment. Don't let the Iron-Eating Moonbirds chew up your items."

"These hound parts smell terrible." Hegel pinched his nose as he took the saliva and eyes.

"It's strange, but poisons and antidotes normally come from the same place."

"Now we have to convince Phils to swallow an antidote that smells like wet dogs and sauerkraut."

"The Lord's adjutant, Duolon, helped a group of people evacuate to the Eternal Mountains before the fortress fell."

"A while ago, Duolon asked if I know the whereabouts of old Lord Basaland. I had no clue, but I suggested that the famous adventurer Joson might have an idea."

"Duolon headed to the Winterstrait Island in the west to seek help from Joson. Would you please search for old Lord Basaland, too? We desperately need his guidance."
