Eternal Sage Mina

Greetings, traveler from afar. I am Mina, Sage for the Temple of Eternity. Mina studies you calmly.

A token from the stranded scientists to the northeast? The Eternal Mother blesses the faithful so they may walk through the darkness without fear, she says quietly.

(You tell Mina what you learned.)

"The problems you mentioned are all due to the cycling of power. To solve them, we must examine the source of the power."

"There is an ancient guardian Sprite named Kasper in the plateau near the Ecliptic Tower to the northwest. It has been observing the local power flux for a long time."

"You should ask for its insights. Before you can do that, though, you will have to fight the Ecliptic Warrior and Ecliptic Sentinel blocking your way."

"Once the wild power flows calm down, we will have time to deal with what's happening in the east."

"Ardenis is apparently forming an army on Heirloom Peninsula to launch an all-out invasion on the west. The target is apparently the Ecliptic Tower in Misty Plateau."

"May the Eternal Mother light your way."

I can feel the power flux in the plateau settling down, %n%. I will inform the Eternal Mother of your contributions to this land.

"%c% %n%, I need your help," Mina said, desperation edging her voice.

"The hunter who collected tiger skins for the Eternal Mother Temple has retired. We need someone new to bring us tiger skins for our rituals."

"Please hunt the beautifully striped tigers around the Temple."

"The tigers have been considered the sacred beasts of the Eternal Mother since ancient times."

"Their skins contain a sacred power, and prayers that use them as ritual offerings tend to be answered."

In addition to the material reward, I am sure that the Eternal Mother will watch over someone as faithful as you.

"The Eternal Mother watches over all of her children. What would you like to tell the Eternal Mother today?"

Mina clasped her hands together and gave you a quiet smile.

(You give her the crystal and explain why you came.)

"Dulai's Crystal... Hmm, it's the result of an ancient power at work in the plateau. You have done well, child."

"This animal... It's %n%, isn't it? How did you end up like this?"

"Oh dear... Here, sit down. I'll remove the spell."

(You are changed back to human form. What a relief.)

"Don't do things that bring bad karma next time, understand?"

"How are you, %c%? Do you have time to serve the Eternal Mother?"

"The Temple found some old books recently that I would like you to take to Jada over by Emperor Lake in Golden Sandbar to be copied."

"He has always been in charge of preserving these records and knowledge."
