Mysterious Assassin

"Eh?!" Assassin's surprised at your appearance and drops to defensive pose.

"Strange %c%, if there's nothing else, leave me alone, or..."

"I won't be friendly for long."

"A Class Master's reference?" Assassin says after taking your letter.

"What the hell?"

"So you're interested in the class, you can be killed anytime!" Assassin smiles.

"Since I'm not getting a shot on this task, I'll take some time to let you experience the real life of an Assassin."

"Remember, Assassins are most feared for their power to cause damage." Assassin looks at his hands.

"You need some living targets to prove your battle skills are good enough for a good attacker."

"A group of undead creatures showed up in Meteorite Crater in Belcar, strike them hard by stabbing their hearts! Then stab through Cloned Beast' thick skin to end their lives."

"I remember the ability to be trained to 30."

"Come back to me when you've completed tasks I give you."

"Your weapon shines with thirst for blood."

"Kill undead slaves in Meteorite Crater and Cloned Beast in Belcar!" Assassin smiles a weird smile at you.

"After I carry out the task, you better hurry back."

"You do have a gift for killing."

"Even I'm surprised at the bloody scent on you." Assassin looks at you.

"You do have talent to become first rate Assassin, perhaps one day you and I will become each other's target. Ha ha!"

"Take this Assassin Envelope, and give it to Class Masters in major cities." Assassin gives you an envelope.

"My name carries some weight among Assassins, my letter should have some influence."

"This envelope proves you've qualified as an Assassin, and Class Master will give you the title of assassin."

"Welcome to our rank, ha ha."

How come the boss's orders weren't dispatched? Well, at least we know the identity of the target. Might as well take care of it myself, muttered the assassin impatiently.

"Bloody rain and wind," you muttered, scanning the assassination order.

"Howling of the spirit," the other party uttered, completing the secret password exchange that would halt the murder.

"Stop the assassination?! You're not serious!" exclaimed the assassin, mouth agape.

"What is the boss thinking? We've gone this far, and he wants us to stop?"

"Let's be clear on this. If you want the mission aborted, you can take back my ax," said the assassin.

"However, according to our original agreement, even if the mission is aborted, you'll still have to give me the ax I was promised. If not, I'll just keep my own ax; I'm used to it now, anyway."

You glanced at his ax and knew it possessed a magical energy. If you could exchange it for the one mentioned in the order, you'd come out on top.

Have you got it? I don't have time to sit around waiting, grumbled the assassin impatiently.

You handed him the ax he had been promised, and he gave you his own weapon, albeit reluctantly.

You were pleased to have cheated this foolish assassin out of a valuable weapon. To avoid any further complications, you bowed to him curtly and ran off, clutching your new ax.

"You must attack the targets under the cover of darkness. Completely concealing your movements is the only way to qualify." The Mysterious Assassin says.

"Did you come here to break through a roadblock? Then I presume you've already seen the quest that I left you."

"Come find me once you've completed it!"

"It looks like these trials don't pose too much of a difficulty for you anymore. As you grow, your movements will increase in speed as well." The Mysterious Assassin says.

"Continue with your training. One day you will discover your own path."

"Go back to the Class Master. I have nothing left to teach you!" The Mysterious Assassin says softly.

"The greater your strength, the greater your responsibility. The future is in your hands."
