L41. Mutated Worm Membrane

"The magic city Ilya in the far east found the plague outbreak here. Summoning ceremonies awakened the beasts."

"The giant creatures who brought about the plague have dark, terrible powers. It makes us all rather nervous, as you might imagine."

"Plague-Eater Worms carry the same power, so I would like you to bring some samples to Elder Merlin in Ilya."

"Perhaps he'll find some clues within the worms."

Merlin looked up at the stars.

"Black power irritated the giant bugs at the Origin of Plague."

"I fear someone wants to take their power and use it as his own."

Merlin studied the sample of the Dark Worm Membrane carefully.

"It looks like the Smoky Quartz triggered evolution."

"Ore like this grows like a cancer underground when nature weakens."

"Someone's collecting this dark power, and the Senate will get to the bottom of it."

"Thank you for the information, young %c%."
