Jennifer mutters to herself as she ignores the endless babble emanating from the skull.

"Recently, I stumbled across a young girl who was on some kind of quest, but she had become homesick... so she started following me around everywhere I went for fear of being alone!"

Jennifer plucks out a doll she had been stuffing with cotton, and sticks the skull inside.

"Here! Give this to the girl. It will comfort her. I guarantee you she'll like it. It's a match made in heaven!"

"Humph! It's been ages since Raum and Thorkin have been to see me!" Jennifer declares bitterly.

As Thorkin instructed, you politely tell Jennifer about the situation and about the appraisal of the stone.

Typical! Why can't Thorkin do his own dirty work?" Jennifer continues to glare at you, mumbling about Thorkin under her breath. You think you make out a few Myriglia curses.

Thorkin was right to worry. Jennifer seems like the impatient type.

You plaster an innocuous smile on your face, telling yourself you'd better be wary if you want to stay on Jennifer's "good side", (if indeed, such a side exists.)

"Okay whatever, this is important after all. Give me that!" Jennifer snatches the stone from your hand, and gets to work.

"Look! This weathered inscription...with a few simple tests I can start to make out what it says."

"Tell Thorkin he needs to get out more, and not just bury himself in ancient books all the time", Jennifer says, delicately writing out the words she's deciphered on to a piece of paper.

"Give this to Thorkin!" And tell him if he wants my help again, he should come to see me himself next time."

"As for the stone, leave it with me for a while and I'll carry out some further tests. You can come back later!"

"And now I have to go through the trouble of sending it over. Does he want to know the truth or not?" Jennifer seems a tad angry.

You take out the paper that Mistic gave you as Jennifer casts an inquisitive eye over it.

"What's this? Let me take a look..." Jennifer opens the paper and then illuminates it with a purple light-pen.

A drawing of a mechanical design is immediately revealed.

"As I thought..." Jennifer furrows her brow.

"This drawing has been made using a special type of ink. There's also some mechanical terminology at the top. Looks like the Beastmen must be planning something terrible.

"Hurry and inform Raum. We need to be ready." Jennifer urges you to waste no time in seeing Raum.
