"My parents are so weird," Yuli complained.
"They're just so lovey-dovey all of the time. It gets kinda of nauseating after a while, you know?"
"Sure, they have to be apart because of this war, but I haven't had any candy for three days, and that's the real travesty!"

"CANDY!" Yuli's eyes went wide when she saw candy in your hand. She wiped away drool and approached you, then suddenly backed away.
"Even if the candy is for me, I still won't be happy," she said with a sigh, eyeing the candy and licking her lips subconsciously.
